Welcome to the world of painter and visionary Eric C. Peterson, a.k.a. “Yonah.”
His paintings hang in private collections and galleries in the United States, New Zealand, Japan, China, and in Europe.
Yonah sees the world in a unique way.
Diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at the age of six, the progressive loss of his eyesight has continued to the present day. Identified as “legally blind”at birth, he now lives with two percent of normal vision.
His biography and personal story are on the “About” page.
You can see and purchase his original works of art from the “Gallery.”
Best of all, you can get to know Yonah and engage in conversation as you watch the evolution of ideas and works of art on the InnerVision Blog.
Yonah’s artwork will help you to see the world in a new way. Yonah’s visual world is filled with color, texture, vibrancy, and astonishing beauty.

Yonah [Eric C. Peterson] enriched my understanding of what a true artist can convey, not only with depth and color for those who can see, but can share even beyond the visual to the world of touch.. The old expression that is often parroted is “a picture is worth a thousand words," but this is often lost in the tactile world of those of us who cannot see. Not so when viewing Yonah's work. Thank you for the wonderful tour of your touch-scapes. My hands, which are my eyes, have seen the varied works you have painted. Your work should be shared so that the world can also see through touch. Sharon H.Ewing
